Shoparn (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides AI-powered virtual try-on technology for furniture and home decor merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Shopify app.

  • Aggregate statistics only – no individual customer data stored

Service Providers

  • Replicate (AI Processing): Room and product images are processed through Replicate’s AI service for virtual try-on generation. Images are processed in real-time and not permanently stored.
  • Vercel (Hosting): Application hosting and content delivery.
  • Supabase (Database): Secure data storage for store and product information.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request.

Data Storage and Security

Storage Location

  • Data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (AWS infrastructure)
  • All data transmissions are encrypted using SSL/TLS

Security Measures

  • Industry-standard encryption for data at rest and in transit
  • Access controls and authentication requirements
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • API keys and tokens are encrypted before storage

Data Retention

  • Store and product data: Retained while your Shopify store is connected
  • Usage logs: Retained for 90 days for analytics purposes
  • Generated images: Stored for 30 days, then automatically deleted
  • Upon app uninstallation: All your data is deleted within 7 days

Customer Room Photos

When end customers use the virtual try-on widget:

  • Room photos are uploaded temporarily for AI processing
  • Images are processed in real-time and not permanently stored by Shoparn
  • Results are cached for 30 days for re-display to the customer
  • No personally identifiable information is extracted from photos
  • Customers control their own uploaded images

Your Rights and Controls

As a Merchant, You Can:

  • Access your store and product data anytime through the Shoparn dashboard
  • Update or delete products from your catalog
  • Disconnect your store at any time (Settings → Integrations → Disconnect)
  • Request data deletion by contacting support@shoparn.com
  • Export your usage analytics

Data Deletion

Upon disconnection or account deletion, we will:

  • Remove your store connection within 24 hours
  • Delete product data within 7 days
  • Remove all associated usage data within 30 days
  • Retention of aggregated, anonymized analytics only
